If add these goals to the 2nd weeks, it easily achieved 25+ goals. The new season have a few surprise and many more will be offered and maybe the results mostly are unexpected by the pundits and fans alike.

Six FTW
Recently if you followed the BPL season, there are three teams who scored 6 goals against none. but what surprised me more is that Newcastle are one of teams. Newcastle opposition, Aston Villa are superior, at least what appeared in the paper. Not to conceded what the team done in previous game under new manager. Chelsea have scored six goals twice in and last game they did it against Wigan who last season beaten two goals more what they got in this season. Arsenal too had their easy game by giving Blackpool what it seems to be a reality check that more will come to their campaign.

Cardiff City
From a city to another city, Cardiff City that is. Malaysian owned club, according to a certain newspaper, loaned the star of Manchester City in form of Craig Bellamy. Not a few day after his move, he will be holding the captain armband. With his credibility, I hope Cardiff will become first Welsh side if I'm not mistaken to be promoted to Premier League

High school of the dead
If anyone watch the new anime call high school of the dead, the viewer are treat by rather a good anime of the undead people. I watch the first 3 episode and it is exceed to my expectation although it is a ecchi type anime. A lot of references done in there and most references that caught my attention is in episode 3 where a burning bus blocked the tunnel as a reminiscence of Resident Evil 2 where Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy were separated by a truck. Don't know about a dialog though but in the story itself, Bujisima were told to meet at the police station just like in RE 2. After goggled this anime, a lot of references are there including Shaun of the Dead.
Spoiler though, I skipped a lot of episode 6 because of the fanservice offered by the anime.

Manchester "Money all that matter" City
After a long hiatus, i decide to update my blog once again. Of course, before a season kick-off there is always a transfer market and once again for second year in a row, Manchester City is in the headlines again by purchasing a big names. As everybody know, David Silva are among others who had became a citizen. The management of MC are basically try to make MC a force to be reckon with, similar with Chelsea but what make it different is that Chelsea won the league after a big spending two years consecutively. With winning a Europa cup seems to be a major goal of the club apart from achieving a CL qualification.
Switch to another Manchester side, Sir Alex Ferguson opt to buy a younger talents this season, since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and failure to win the previous season's league. Still, the side do well this season despite without their impact as we can see on MU vs Newcastle games.

Au revoir, France
France shouldn't qualified for the world cup in the first place. They humiliated only themselves. Prior to the in-break between two half of France second game, tense between Anelka and the coach Raymond Domenench are inevitable as Anelka swearing toward his coach and as a retribution, the FFF sends him home. This made the french boycotting their training session. This alone proves how morale of the France team and thus disrupt the harmony within the team. Some might said that Domenench should be fired after the 2006 world cup. They at least aren't repeating the feat they had in 2002 world cup. In the last game of group A, South Africa beat France 2-1. Speaking of South Africa, they became the first host failed to qualified to the 2nd round. While Mexico are qualified as expected, they have a quite tough opposition in the next round.

Nice to see your home fans boo ya! That what loyal support is
Another England poor display. This time against minnows Algeria. Yesterday game was horrible to watch, there are so few shoot attempted and unorganized defense system. To add insult to injury, Rooney hit back on their fans who jeered the team. First game some goalkeeper error that propel team America but, this is unacceptable even for true pundits. Their lack of morale after the USA game may lead to the poor performances but to me, it was a pressure from both the fans and ultimately, the media.
The English are having among the best league in the world but yet, a Championship club play better than them. Of course, Germany played earlier also lost their games, but nothing compare to this. If look at the team, there are only two men deserved to be criticized which is Jamie Carragher, who supposed to be retired and Emile Heskey. In fact, Heskey are the worst among the first eleven. Thankfully, the coach weren't picked Green again. The problems started when Capello excluded Theo Walcott from the 25 men squad. Walcott got the speed, the brain and everything a common footballer has. Looked back at the Arsenal games, most of the games that feature Walcott, Arsenal does win. He looked so instrumental in those wins. Of couse, last of few games won't feature him or his form is so unconvincing, but at least that can't be a reason why Capello should axed him. This England lack everything of what he has.

World cup matches
after a long while I din't update my blog but here we are again. Since there are too many match I've to remember, I pick the Brazilian match, from what I see, Brazil just plain lucky to win the match. Don't get me wrong, I am too a proud fan of the samba boys. I try my best to biased toward a particular team. They proved to be useless without their samba and the opposition make a better statement where they are playing better despite their lack possession of the ball. But despite those "blunders" make by Brazil, what a goal by Maicon. Some can say that the ball may help the goal but that what make it difference by comparing playing styles.
Talk about playing styles, Messi are great player and thus deserved the title FIFA World Players of the Year. His pace are mesmerizing. Unlike the other players who was at least held the title once, they don't actually performed what the football fan expected. With those said, Messi alone can't win a World Cup. But at least the Argentine aren't too depend on him. World Cup wasn't like a domestic league where every week, there are at least two to three games in a week for the same team where form can be built every games he play. One may say 'Form is temporary, class are permanent'.

Robert is too Green to catch a ball
The game should be an easy walk in the park, but a blunders destroy the hopes of all Englishmen, particularly David Beckham. He can't believe what Robert Green course of action. But not that what crumbles England hope. Both of the wingers doesn't seem to be a fully functional. If Shaun Wright-Philips were put into the right side instead in the left side, the result would be different. The defensive side of England were easily disposed off by the youth attacker, Landon also make some chaos into the English side. King are proved to be an unreliable in term to synch with Terry. Ferdinand are the heart of the English defense and will be missed throughout the tournament. Even they are qualified, the defense are still in chaos without him.

Group B review
Yesterday, i forgot to mention the Greek in the post, yeah, who can forgot King Otto for his contribution in Euro 2004 by lead Greece to their first major Euro title and for that, surely they have no problem on yesterday match. The answer is no. Again and again the back four of Greece were so easily exploited by the creativity of the South Korean midfielder. Gekas can't find his form that propelled Greece into the 2010 World Cup. Congratulation to the Korean by winning their match.
On Argentina, they are performing far better than I anticipated. The players seems to understand the strategy implemented by Maradonna but the pass by Veron are worst. Veron pass are embarrassing sometimes. A perfomance from Vincent Enyeama are to be proud. His safe keep Nigeria have a fighting of at least tie the game in. This is of course will be a reality if those Nigerian particularly the midfield players. If they playing a calm game, the result may changed. Next game will be to both Korean and Argentinian as the win would almost guaranteed them a place to the next round.

Group B and Group C Day 1 Preview
The world of football will be treated by two games that bring two of the powerhouses or contender I should say, Argentina vs Nigeria and England vs USA. In group B, we can finally see what Maradonna capable off. Then again, I cannot see Argentina winning this World Cup even Lionel Messi at their disposal. To me, Maradonna himself says that he will be running naked around the cities of Buenos Aires if Argentina do win a world cup which proves enough that he also won't his team go for the win, not with his current player. What he's thinking about picking up Newcastle outfit players, Jonas Gutierrez but doesn't take other Argentinian in the team(Forget his name). But that is no the end, Maradonna also pick his players that based in Argentina with the likes of Matin Palermo, but ignored, should I say, players who has more younger and more capable players like Lucho Gonzales. The exclusion of the Inter dynamic duo, Esteban Cambiasso and Javier Zanetti seem shock the world. These guy experience should be enough to see the Argentina go through the group stage easily. With all that, happy to see Higuain got his spot in the squad.
England will squeezed themselves quite easily, even without their injured man. the strike power of Rooney will help this purpose given that he keep his temper. With Rooney being targeted by the opposition's defender, this could be well critical to England campaign. I say that England will go through the Group stage without a problem starting tonight.

Group A Review
Ok... i think i have a inaccurate info on how the Mexicans will easily qualified to the second round. Should have put the word 'should qualify to the last 16' instead. But my prediction about French not fall off either. When I watch the game, I watch the reminiscence of 2006 world cup where instead of Zidane, there are Ribery.
I must admit that I only watch the first half of the game knowing the result. Although the performance of Uruguay did surprised me. Earlier, South Africa did the same by scoring first. The Bafana Bafana should be proud of this result as the group are still wide open. I'm still with my prediction that French will fall apart by the minnows.

World Cup Fever 2010
For opening blog, i decide to talk about FIFA World Cup since it also birth of my blog... huhuhuhu...
So, for the first game that will be kicked off any minute now, South Africa versus Mexico... got to say this game has a lot of pressure to South African players as this is the first game on the home soil. Play on the home turf has its advantage which one of them is the noise of the African trumpet which is a trademark for nation. The noise made from the special made trumpet has been a controversy since the Confederation Cup. Come back to the game, I personally think that the Mexicans have the edge against the Africans and I dare to say they has an easy task to qualified to the last 16 round.
This is of course the French of course in such disarrays, unlike what they achieved in 1998 edition. In those time, the team is in best form. But such form were tainted in 2002 edition World Cup when they lost the game against Senegal and since their not-so-impressive campaign, come Raymond Domenench. That when the disaster struck the player. On their run on 2006, the French were so lucky when they had Zizou. To me, that what bring them to the final. Euro 2008 was their worst run and certainly I at least, don't understand why the French Football Federation won't sack him. I am sure they are "luckiest" team in the world especially when it came to the France play-off game against Ireland. For me, they will have a toughest game in this group A.
That's that.
